Hand me downs

There are many advantages of having three boys (seriously...I love it...which I know may shock some of you)! But one big advantage is the hand me down of clothes. Beckham is a proud owner of many of his big brother's clothes. I put Beckham in these reindeer pajamas this Christmas and it reminded me of a Christmas when I had both Cole and Bradley in the same ones. I just had to post it. In these pictures Cole is 2 (almost 3) and Bradley is 1 1/2. Beckham is 7 months.

Christmas Day 2009

I could just kick myself! We filmed on Christmas so we didn't even think to take pictures. I am so sad! I have one solo picture of Beckham playing with basket from a wonderful neighbor gift. I am going to see if any of my family members took pictures and then I will post them.

The boys woke up Christmas morning and went to check if the reindeer ate their food! They did! So they moved on to see if Santa ate his cookies and saw that Santa enjoyed those too. They were so excited to open up their presents. Once all that was done the whole family came over and had breakfast. The boys loved playing with their cousins. We headed home and we were all so exhausted we hung out in the family room and in between naps played with our new toys/gadgets. We are so thankful for our many blessings. Just being together and enjoying this beautiful holiday made my heart soar. Cole was asked to give the prayer for the food and in the prayer he mentioned (without any coaxing from us) he was grateful for the savior's birth and that this is a time of giving and sharing. What a beautiful holiday!

Christmas Eve

On this Christmas Eve we decided to take the boys to see Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel downtown with my mom! The boys LOVED it. I think Beckham might have loved it the most- he danced through the whole movie.
Then it was off to Nanny and Papa's house to sleep over! Papa bought the boys a Polar Express train to set up around the Christmas Tree. The boys had so much fun putting it together with their Daddy. Beckham loved pulling it apart.
We then had dinner, attempted to make gingerbread houses (there is a reason there is no picture of this), decorated cookies for Santa, set out the reindeer food, and then off for a bath and pajamas. This all happened so quickly because the boys were so tired they could barely keep their heads off the table. It was a wonderful Christmas Eve!

Here Come's Santa Claus.....

Today was our annual Reynolds Family Christmas lunch at the Country Club! My whole family (minus my brother Greg, sister-in-law Michelle, and their twins Madison and Sadie) gathered to eat lunch and wait for Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus to arrive on their helicopter. The kids get so excited for this every year. Dennis and I were excited to see how Beckham would react to Santa. Everyone loved it and Beckham didn't cry, but he did seem a little confused! It was a wonderful day.

I knew something was up.....

I have found Beckham with his binky like this several times...it makes me laugh. I just thought he wasn't sure how to put the binky in right. But as I found out tonight he has a tooth on the bottom that came in! I couldn't believe it! My baby is getting so big! He just turns that binky in and turns it around and CHOMPS!

A Thanksgiving of FIRSTS......

Dennis and I decided to be brave and host our very FIRST Thanksgiving in our home this year. Ok- so we only invited my parents and Dennis' brother, but it still meant I had to set a table and cook the food! My mother came over first thing in the morning and we started the turkey's (yes plural...two of them). This would be our FIRST turkey WE have ever cooked, so we were a little nervous about it. We started one turkey in the oven and the other in a Hamilton Beach Broiler (or something like that). We seasoned them and hoped they would come out tasting good for everyone to eat. Much to our surprise they BOTH came out fantastic. We also made sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, crock-pot stuffing, and salad. We bought some yummy rolls and my dad came and made the potatoes and gravy (thank goodness)! The boys were very excited all day. They couldn't wait until the food was ready (and when it was, they took two bites and they were done)! After dinner it was off to the Old Dogs movie. So after hosting our FIRST Thanksgiving and cooking our FIRST turkey, our little baby boy rolled over for the FIRST time (I know this is a little late, but he does have quite a lot of body to roll)! Whew were we all tired!

Bunk Beds

Cole and Bradley have been sharing a room for 3 years. They have had twin beds side by side which has taken up all the space in their room. They only use their room to sleep. We inherited bunk beds from my brother and sister in law.The boys are SO excited. Now they have space to hang out and play and Bradley feels less scared now that Cole is above him (don't ask me what the difference is between Cole being beside him and above him). I had to post a picture of their new room. The last picture is when I walked in on them the first night and they were talking to each other from their beds...so cute.

Beckham 6 Months

Beckham turned six months old on November 1st. We had his doctor appointment on Monday November 2nd and here is the latest....

He is 27 inches tall and 21 1/2 pounds. He sits up on his own, laughs, smiles, LOVES his daddy and big brothers, and is pretty content to do just about anything. He has been sleeping better lately, but there are those early mornings where he wants to get up and chat. His cries are very rare and loves to be held by anyone (should I take this personally ?)! He has been such a blessing and such a source of happiness. We love our Beckham (or buggies or chubs as the boys call him)

Halloween 2009

We had a fun Halloween! The kids all dressed up in Star Wars (even our baby yoda) and we had my mom and sister in law (along with Sadie and Madison) over for dinner. After dinner Dennis took the boys all around the neighborhood to trick or treat. After that Cole insisted on sitting outside and handing out the candy! They were exhausted by the time the night was over. Beckham too....too much excitment for one little yoda!

I have been able to spend a lot of time with my cute little twin nieces Sadie and Madison! They are so FUNNY and quite sure that they only want to spend time talking with either their mother, sisters, or their daddy. So when I get close they give me the "hand"! Since I don't have any little girls of my own I am determined to win their hearts. I just had to share these pictures because I adore them so much. Thanks Andrea for taking them...and for all of your hard work...since you got the "hand" too! :)

Beckham 5 Months

Beckham is five months old!! He is such a happy baby. He smiles at everyone. He laughs a lot. Adores his brothers. Sticks his tounge out every chance he gets. Sucks his thumb when his binky isn't in his mouth. Is a TERRIBLE sleeper :) ! And.... I just can't get enough of him. He makes every day better. I love having these three boys- they are such a blessing.

May The Force Be With You......

This year we are actually on top of things. We usually get their costumes a week before Halloween. However, this year my friend Andrea decided to do Halloween pictures for the kids. It was so fun. She had pumpkins, haystacks, candy for the kids, a cute banner, etc. It was so much fun. So we got the costumes early and headed over one night and had their pictures all taken. I was very worried about Beckham not smiling, but as Dennis reminded me YODA DOES NOT SMILE! :) Thanks Andrea...this is fun to have.

Double Feature......

This weekend I took Cole and Bradley to see the Toy Story double feature. I was excited that I was able to spend some time with just the two boys (Dennis stayed home with Beckham). It reminds me of the days were I spent every day with just the two of them. We had so much fun. They sat through the ENTIRE 3 hours. There was an intermission in the middle and Bradley wanted to make sure he didn't miss anything so after a bathroom break we ran right in and watched the rest! It was such a fun afternoon!

REAL VS Chicago **GUYS NIGHT**

Dennis took the boys to dinner at The Mayan and then off to their first REAL soccer game last night. They played Chicago and the boys had so much fun! Cole came home and told me he knows how to play soccer better - by using his head and no arms- he has been practicing ever since he got home! REAL and Chicago tied- but it didn't matter because the boys had so much fun with their daddy!

First Soccer Game of 2009

Today Cole and Bradley played their first soccer game of 2009. It was such a nice day and they were excited they had so many friends on their team and an AWESOME coach! Cole made two goals and they each got a turn to be a goalie! It was so fun to watch them.
