Summer 2011

Every week we go swimming at my friend Andrea's house. It is something we look foward to each week. She has boys around the same age as Cole and Bradley and they love playing together. Many of our other friends come as well and it is one big party every week. She took a picture of the boys this past week and I just love it. I LOVE summer.

Sweet Tooth!

My boys are not into sweets. I know this is shocking since Dennis and I LOVE them, but Cole and Bradley have never liked them. They only eat licorice once in awhile and Cole likes the occassional kiss (the chocolate kind), but never into cake, etc. Then Beckham came along.... wow. This kid LOVES sweets. He is allergic to eggs like Cole, just not as severe, which is a good thing because he eats lots of things with eggs in it. He loves cake, cookies, brownies, ice-cream, etc. On the 4th of July we made brownie/cookies. Here is eating all of it...right out of the pan.

Clark Planetarium 3D

Cole, Bradley, Beckham and I met my mom downtown at the Clark Planetarium to see the 3D movie Born To Be Wild. It was such a cool movie. The boys loved watching the animals and loved exploring the planetarium after as well.

First DRIVE-IN....

Dennis and I took the boys to their first drive in movie. We put pillows, blankets, cusions in the back of the truck and picked up treats and drove over to the old drive in movie. We got there a little later than we should have and we were in the back row of cars, so our viewing wasn't that great. Cole and Bradley had so much fun. I thought a drive in would be good for Beckham, but he did not sit still and wanted to get out and run around. We had fun though and the boys thought it was so cool to sit in the car and see a movie!

Liberty Park

The boys and I went to breakfast with my mom and then to the dollar store. What kid doesn't love the dollar store?! We then wen to Liberty Park where they played in the water, swing sets, and also got to go on some rides. It was a beautiful day.

Snow Day

On Wednesday December 29th it snowed a lot! I took all the boys outside (including my nephew Sam) and they went sledding and Beckham had fun just trying to walk through the VERY deep snow. After that we had to go inside and get back in our pajamas and under warm blankets!

Jr Jazz

Cole and Bradley are in a Jr Jazz Basketball team, which they love. They received free Jazz tickets for Monday December 27th! Dennis took Cole, Bradley, and their cousin Sam. Dennis said they had fun...for the first quarter... but they hung in there until the 3rd quarter. I think they loved being with their cousin Sam most of all!

New Years Eve 2010

Happy New Year!!

This New Year's Eve we decided to get some food from Cafe Rio, watch a movie, and celebrate New Year's at 8:00 p.m. However, Cole and Bradley felt they were old enough to stay up until midnight this year and celebrate at the right time. We wished Beckham a Happy New Year and put him to bed and put a movie on for the boys. They boys kept asking us what time it was ...10:30, 10:45, 11:00, 11:30, and then when we finally hit midnight the boys were out... I mean... so asleep NOTHING would wake them up! In the morning Bradley asked if we celebrated without him and of course we didn't! :) Everyone was asleep, except for Dennis and me! It was the FIRST New Years in many years that I stayed awake. I am excited for 2011 and all the possibilities it brings. I am excited to make self improvements, house improvements, and to watch my kids grow and learn new skills. Each year brings new excitement and challenges and we are ready for it in 2011!

Merry Christmas 2010

This Christmas was WONDERFUL! I was a little worried because Beckham's collarbone was making him miserable and more work than usual, but the little guy made it through with smiles (and no nap) on Christmas. The kids woke up at 6:50 a.m. They have never awakened this early before. They were very excited, as were we! Beckham was still asleep, so the boys opened their presents one by one and loved them all. Cole and Bradley were so anxious for Beckham to wake up and see what Santa had brought him! He finally woke up and they all had so much fun together. We then headed over to my parents for breakfast with all of their cousins and then back home where they continued to set up Lego's with their dad and talk to their LaTour cousins/family in North Carolina. I am so truly grateful for my family and for the Savior's birth. Dennis and I really made sure our kids knew what Christmas is about, which made it so even more meaningful.
