Beckham 15 Weeks

Another one falls out.....

Cole's 4th tooth fell out last night. He was playing with his top front tooth for days- it was driving him crazy and finally Dennis helped it out a little bit and got it out! Cole was so excited. He put his tooth out for the tooth fairy (and this time the tooth fairy remembered)- so Cole is now officially missing his two front teeth!
As I was taking a picture of Cole to get his special moment- Bradley said "now mom- take a picture of both of us- this is a BIG DAY!" So here it is!

Yahoo! It happened....

Sweet Beckham has made my week! He started off Monday sleeping from 10:30-5:00. He went back to bed at 6:00 and slept until 8:00. I couldn't believe it. In fact I didn't sleep that well because I kept checking on him. But sure enough- he really did sleep through the night. Of course I thought it was too good to happen the second night. I WAS WRONG! On Tuesday night he ended up sleeping from 11:00-5:30 and then back in bed by 6:00 and slept until 8:10 a.m. Wow. I was feeling great! Last night he slept from 10:30-6:00. He ate and went back to bed by 7:00 and just woke up at 9:00 a.m. I am already showered, the laundry is done, and my house is actually picked up a little bit. That hasn't happend ONCE in the last 15 weeks.

So I feel pretty blessed. Cole slept through the night at 10 weeks. Bradley slept through the night at 2 years (seriously)! So to have the 3rd child sleep through the night at 15 weeks- is pretty amazing. I know it will not last but I am THRILLED that for at least 3 nights I have slept more than 3 hours at a time!

I can't believe he is 15 weeks old. He is the happiest little baby. He makes us all smile so much. He has added such an excitement to our home. His older brothers adore him and of course Dennis and I are just having so much fun! He has had to endure MANY hot days at the pool, shopping for school clothes, dinners with the extended family, summer gatherings with cousins, noisy sleepovers, and so much more and he has been fantastic. He sleeps when he can and for the rare days we have been home he has gone to bed and enjoyed a long nap! What a great summer!

Time-Out

Cole and Bradley rarely get put in time-out. They are generally good kids, except for when they "fight" with each other. The other day they were fighting and I couldn't take it anymore- so they got sent to time-out. Cole (of course) was very upset and sad that he was put in time out, he was crying and trying to say sorry- he felt so badly! Bradley simply sat in his corner..quiet. After his five minutes were up and I went to get him I noticed he was slumped over asleep (very unaffected by the time out I tried to give him- to him it was just a nice nap). He eventually made himself comfortable and stayed there for an entire hour- I guess time out to Bradley = nap time!

A Day With Nanny and Papa.....

Last Thursday we went to my mom and dad's house (Nanny and Papa's) for the day. The boys ran through the sprinklers, played water guns, and ate lunch with their cousins Lauryn and Macy. It was such a fun little party! Lauryn and Macy brought their cute dog Ziggy- he is seriously the BEST dog. So quiet and just wants to be held and tickled. Bradley is afraid of dogs but as you can see below he took a liking to Ziggy quickly. He said "I wish Cole wasn't allergic to dogs...I want a Ziggy!" Wow that is a first. We had such a fun day with everyone! At the end of the day they were worn out and all the boys hung out on the floor and watched a movie!

Barnes + Swimming + More Friends = FUN! FUN! FUN!

Today was such a fun day! My friend Andrea invited some friends over to swim in her pool! We were lucky enough to have the Barnes family in town the same day so Natalie, Donovan, Nyah and Cardon came over with us! We had 18 kids at Andrea's house (she is so brave). They had so much fun swimming and eating lunch. Of course the mother's all had fun talking and laughing! Then Nyah and Donovan came over to play afterwards. Natalie and I have it all planned out for Nyah and Bradley- they will be married one day. They get along so great and they are cute to see together! Donovan and Cole went right back to being best buddies- it has been about 4 months since they saw each other last and they get along well too. We are hoping that Cardon and Beckham get along as well- although Cardon looks much happier and easier going than Beckham in this picture...:) I loved every minute of this day! Of course I had to get a picture of Steph's cute boy Jett too...what a fun group!
