A Day With Nanny and Papa.....

Last Thursday we went to my mom and dad's house (Nanny and Papa's) for the day. The boys ran through the sprinklers, played water guns, and ate lunch with their cousins Lauryn and Macy. It was such a fun little party! Lauryn and Macy brought their cute dog Ziggy- he is seriously the BEST dog. So quiet and just wants to be held and tickled. Bradley is afraid of dogs but as you can see below he took a liking to Ziggy quickly. He said "I wish Cole wasn't allergic to dogs...I want a Ziggy!" Wow that is a first. We had such a fun day with everyone! At the end of the day they were worn out and all the boys hung out on the floor and watched a movie!

Barnes + Swimming + More Friends = FUN! FUN! FUN!

Today was such a fun day! My friend Andrea invited some friends over to swim in her pool! We were lucky enough to have the Barnes family in town the same day so Natalie, Donovan, Nyah and Cardon came over with us! We had 18 kids at Andrea's house (she is so brave). They had so much fun swimming and eating lunch. Of course the mother's all had fun talking and laughing! Then Nyah and Donovan came over to play afterwards. Natalie and I have it all planned out for Nyah and Bradley- they will be married one day. They get along so great and they are cute to see together! Donovan and Cole went right back to being best buddies- it has been about 4 months since they saw each other last and they get along well too. We are hoping that Cardon and Beckham get along as well- although Cardon looks much happier and easier going than Beckham in this picture...:) I loved every minute of this day! Of course I had to get a picture of Steph's cute boy Jett too...what a fun group!

Happy TWO months Beckham....

Our sweet Beckham is two months old today. I truly can't believe it has been two months. The first two weeks of his life I told everyone he was the PERFECT baby- he smiled from the beginning and melted all of our hearts. He rarely cried and was just a wonderfully easy baby. After two weeks we had the colic, reflux, and just about anything else kick in...but of course we still adored him. It took a lot of trips to the doctor to figure out what was going on and how we would survive (I was beyond exhausted) but now he feels much better and the smiles are back and I am actually getting some sleep! He is back to being that easy happy baby. It has been a little over 5 years since we had a baby in our home..and I thought it would all come back and this time would be easy...but now I know it is sometimes a re-learning process- however- I am more relaxed with this third baby boy. I know the sleepless nights will end and that I might be able to get stuff done in the future :) ..but right now I am really enjoying holding him and looking into those beautiful eyes and dreaming of what he will become when he is older. We are truly blessed and enjoying EVERY minute of it.

Goodbye Hix Family....

Our friends and neighbors The Hix Family are moving to Idaho. So last night it was a neighborhood party to say goodbye (or as we all like to think of it ....see you later...)! My kids had a blast. They adore Ryker and Gavin and are so sad that they won't be able to play with them as often (we really are hoping they come visit and play soon). Sara is the best- a great friend and she always makes me smile. Just the best family....we will miss you!

The Dinosaur Museum

Today we went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point with Andrea, Joshua, Brady, Aubrey, Steph, Sky, Jett, Brooke, Suzanne, Abby, and LuLu. We had such a great time! The kids LOVED everything about it! We went through the museum, played with the wet sand, then into the sandbox, and then off to lunch. What a wonderful day!

Father's Day 2009

Happy Father's Day to a WONDERFUL father and husband. We adore you.
The kids wanted to make cards and breakfast for Dennis- so we got up and got it all done. I told them I wanted to take a picture and wanted them to hold the breakfast up along with their cards....as you can see by their faces it was a little too much to hold and the breakfast was about to hit the ground...but no worries...we got it delivered to Dennis in bed safe and sound. Happy Father's Day Dennis!
